Meant To Be Vital

Disease, an isolated dissection from symmetry within the body at its most acute state, can be reversed and cured over time with the integration of specific movement patterns.

All individuals are either actively living or passively dying. If our movement patterns are not building us up, they are breaking us down. Our thoughts, feelings, and emotions affect our physical body as well, impacting how we move, and how often. What ails an individual can be found, felt, and fixed.

Origin Of the Alston Method
Over my last 28 years working with clients as a movement specialist and fitness trainer, I’ve had the opportunity to observe and intuitively experiment with people from all walks and stages of life that were looking for relief from pain or to maximize their physical potential. Over time I began to see the dynamics of a root circulatory system that is the foundation of human health.

Our body informs us of any blockages in the movement of this circulation by expressing symptoms of disease, pain and limitation. I’ve devised a simple method, The Alston Method - that restores the healthy flow of this core circulation. This activates our bodies’ innate healing capacity and we begin to freely move and function as intended.

Born from years of dedication to the higher functioning of the whole human (in body, mind, and spirit), the Alston Method is for anyone looking to heal and grow.

More on the Alston Method

The Alston Method, a series of definitive patterns in which to travel and explore daily, creates a strong physical and emotional sense of self that hinges on ease and certainty — states of being that as humans we crave (and don’t find naturally in the world around us). Our unique method is designed to meet any human where he or she is. The method keeps individuals fit, and well, with oxygen incorporated throughout the whole body.

The Alston Method Screen is the basis of our work. Our Screening guides individuals through eight essential movements which allows us to understand where blood flow and oxygen are being impeded. After these movements are analyzed, the individual is given an exercise prescription to reintroduce dissected patterns and restore function and vitality.

Get fit and well without the stress

As humans, we are the only beings — dare I say animals — born with an overwhelming sense of uncertainty as to who we are, why we are here, and where we are going. Spend enough time under this tension and the end result is stress.

Unlike traditional techniques touted by the fitness and wellness industry, The Alston Method builds the mind and body without subjecting the individual to undue stress. This simple method — based on the body’s innate movement patterns — can be done by nearly anyone, almost anywhere, in 20-30 minutes each day.

Committing to The Alston Method will change your life. Some of the benefits include decreasing inflammation; improving joint health and function; creating balance in body and mind; increasing strength and endurance; and bolstering cognitive clarity and emotional stability.

The Alston Method was designed to create function — no matter what ails you. When combined with the correct chemical intake (largely consisting of a well-balanced diet rich in fresh, local produce), The Alston Method will lead to optimal health and wellness  — in mind, body and spirit.
